Built in 1951, this home, now owned by the Childs, was designed by Jack Canizaro. It was originally built for George and May Harrison. They had no children and did not plan to have any. The one-bedroom house was designed to be only one room wide throughout. The layout of the house had small bathrooms containing only the necessities. Simple living, with little material possession, was a factor of many modern homes. When the home changed owners over the years, two additions were made. Canizaro designed the first addition (adding another master bedroom and a nursery).
